Overview
The Cell and Gene Therapies group supports a portfolio of drug development projects within the pipeline of the Stanford IMA, and also supports the broader Stanford research community an AAV manufacturing service in the Nucleus.
Nucleus Collaborations
The costs associated with our AAV manufacturing service are the responsibility of the requesting party. Seed grants are occasionally available; see the Nucleus website for more information.
IMA Collaborations
The IMA is dedicated to accelerating the drug development of innovative translational gene and cell therapies that target unmet clinical needs. For longer-term collaborative projects, we regularly onboard new projects into our pipeline through a Request for Proposals (RFP). See the IMA website for current opportunities. Onboarded projects receive support in the form of funding, scientific expertise, external resources, and project management.
We accept proposals for projects that address two major challenges in drug development: identification of drug candidates and optimization towards clinical gene and cell therapy products. Basic research is outside the scope of our RFP.
