FAQ

Vectors are for research and preclinical use only and are not GMP-manufactured or approved for human use.

The facility is available to all academic investigators and affiliated research groups.

Small-scale production from 500 mL to 5 L, depending on serotype and payload complexity.

All we need is your AAV plasmid containing your gene of interest flanked by ITRs, along with its sequence information.

The core routinely supports AAV2, AAV5, AAV6, AAV8, and AAV9. Additional serotypes may be evaluated upon request.

Yes. The core offers payload and vector design consultation, including promoter selection, genome architecture, and packaging constraints.

Yes. Both ssAAV and scAAV genomes can be produced, subject to design review.

The core uses chromatography-based purification workflows.

Standard QC includes vector genome titer. Additional assays like capsid protein analysis, %full and endotoxin testing are available upon request.

Most projects are completed within 2–4 weeks after receipt of initial materials.

Contact the core with details on serotype, payload, scale, and QC needs to initiate a consultation. All orders to be formally placed through iLAB services

We specialize in scales from 1E12 vg to 1E14 vg, perfect for most pre-clinical research. If you have different needs, please contact us for a custom consultation.

Your purified AAV is formulated in a standard buffer (e.g., PBS + 0.001% Pluronic F-68), aliquoted to your specifications.
